Kale and Dar

I just finished reading DragonSpell by Donita K. Paul and had the urge to draw some fanart.

So the above was my attempt at Kale [right] with her two Minor dragons Gymn [on her shoulder] and Metta [Flying]. All in all, I'm pleased with how Kale turned out.

On the left I made an attempt at Dar. I'm not good at drawing Anthros but I think he turned out rather well. Not quite how I picture him, but then I don't really have clear pictures of characters in my mind but vague ideas ... hm...
